Introduction

This blog has been set up as a guide to readings on the Russian Revolution - from introductory texts to much more detailed ones. Many of these are available online. Many are from the perspective of revolutionary socialism. The Russian Revolution and its aftermath had a decisive influence on world history and reshaped the left. Some on the left still consider it the highpoint of working class struggle. Given all off this the blog can only scratch the surface, but hopefully it is of some use to people. Pretty much want to keep the emphasis on the period up to WWII, by which time the triumph of reaction in the form of Stalinism is complete. Feel free to make comments, criticise or suggest additions.
